Stamps And Smiles - #8 Challenge

I loved using the sketch from Stamps and Smiles this week! So much so ... I did two cards straight off :)

For the boys card I used 'Rock Star' Luca from Sugar Nellie. Bazzill cardstock. The papers are all from The Paper Loft - 'Well Worn' collection. The sentiment and mats are created using Stampin' UP! products.

I used one of my Miss Anya's from The Greeting Farm for the girls card. Bazzill cardstock again and papers from Cosmo Cricket - 'Storytime' collection. The sentiment is the same one from Stampin' UP! (Very Versitile set) and the mats have been created using the new oval punches .. again from Stampin' UP!.

I like both of these cards. The sketch was very easy to use and I will definitely use this one again :)

Stamp Something Challenge

This is my attempt at last week's Stamp Something challenge. I have used one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie - coloured with Promarker pens. The papers are from Adornit - Carolee's Creations, the Families Forever collection. The sentiment is a Letraset rubon.

Charisma Cardz Challenge - #12

This week's challenge from Charisma Cardz is 'My Favourite Things'. A really easy challenge for me because my favourite things are my stamps :)

The papers used are from Daisy Bucket Designs - Garden Gate collection ... and I love them :) The stamp used is another Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie which I've coloured using Promarkers. I have used the new Oval punches from Stampin' UP! for the sentiment mats and the sentiment stamp is also from their 'Very Versitile' stamp set. The cardstock is Bazzill.

The Sugar Bowl - Challenge #7

My entry for the latest Sugar Bowl challenge 'Spring or Easter'. A spring birthday card .... :)

The stamp used is by Elisabeth Bell called 'Sweet n Sassy' from Sugar Nellie. The papers are all from the Katlin Collection by Crate Paper. The sentiment is from the 'Circle of Friendship' stamp set from Stampin' UP! I have also used the Scalloped circle and circle punches from Stampin' UP! to create the mats used with the sentiment. The cardstock used is from DCWV.

Our Creative Corner - Challenge

I discovered another challenge site this week and decided to use the sketch. The sketch actually has an oval in the middle of it BUT ... I don't do ovals .... lol! Circles are hard enough, but ovals .... not a chance. I've tried them and it wasn't good! So until I get a die cutter option sorted ..... no ovals :)

Have used the same Magnolia stamp again .... sorry! Must try and get hold of some different ones soon :) I've coloured her with Promarker pens as usual. The papers are all from Fancy Pants and the cardstock this time is DCWV. The sentiment and sentiment mat are created using the Stampin' UP! Cute and Curly stamp set and punch. These aren't available in the UK unfortunately, but I have a super friend who bought them for me when she was on hols in the States recently ....... thank you Alison xxx

Charisma Cardz Challenge - #11

Another new challenge site for me today. This time Charisma Cardz.

I used Piggy Tales papers for both of these ... I made 2 cards, because I liked the papers so much :). They are all from the Gretel Collection. The stamped images are from Sugar Nellie and are by Leanne Ellis. The sentiment stamp is from a new stamp set by Stampin' UP! - Very Versatile (available from the mini catalogue). All the cardstock is from Bazzill. Both images are coloured using Promarkers.

Sunday Sketch - Crafts 4 Eternity #24

Another challenging sketch from Crafts 4 Eternity this week. I really hate these circles! I'm going to have to try and sort out a proper die cutter or something, so I can do them properly :)

I love this Magnolia stamp .... I think it's the puppy :) Cardstock used is Bazzill and the printed papers are from My Mind's Eye - Wild Asparagus collection. Sentiment is made using Stampin' UP! punches and stamp (from Circle of Friendship set).

Sketch Saturday #43

I used Scenic Route papers for this week's challenge from Sketch Saturday. I really like the stars and stripes look! The little button coasters are from Imagination Project. The stamped image is of course from Sugar Nellie :) 'Rockstar' Luca .... he's fast becoming a favourite for me! The blue cardstock is Bazzill.

Stamps And Smiles - #7 Challenge

For this week's Stamps And Smiles challenge, I have used another of my Gorjuss Girls. The sentiment was created using Stampin' UP! Oval punches (from the mini catalogue). The ribbon and cardstock are also Stampin' UP! All the papers are from The Laundry Line collection from My Minds Eye.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar - #43 Little Gem

This week's Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge was to use gems on a card. I quite like a bit of bling :) ... but don't always remember to add it!

I have used one of my Miss Anya's - from The Greeting Farm - for the image on this card. The sentiment and ribbon are from Stampin' UP! All the papers are Laundry Line from My Mind's Eye. I adore these papers. They are all highlighted with glitter. Maybe a bit extravagant to use so many on one card .... but what the heck! :)

Stampin' UP!

I have been trying to get a few sample cards made up for my Stampin' UP! display board. For this one I have used two stamp sets. The images are 'Doodle That' and the little decorate frames on the mats are from 'Frames With A Flourish'. The ribbon is Certainly Celery grosgrain. I have used So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Pink Passion cardstock. The pretty patterned paper is from one of the new designer series papers available in the mini catalogue - 'Tea Party'.

I used the Stampin' UP! Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the Doodles in each frame .... what a fab tool! It's really easy to use and does exactly what it says on the tin!! :)

Something's been bugging me about this card since I made it up and I think it may be that I haven't set the panel quite right - it should have been just a little higher ..... I may have to do this one again :)

The inspiration for this card came from Aurora Dawn's blog. I love the cards she makes - they always look gorgeous! AND she is currently offering some fab Stampin' UP! BLOG CANDY - so pop over and have a look ... :)

The Sugar Bowl - Challenge #6

My entry for the latest Sugar Bowl challenge 'Mother's Day'.

I have used one of the new Gorjuss Girl stamps from Sugar Nellie. The papers are all from the Katlin Collection by Crate Paper. The sentiment is from the 'soon to be available' Oval All stamp set from Stampin' UP! Also used to create the sentiment mats - the new Scallop Oval and Large Oval punches - available from April 1st :) The cardstock is all Bazzill.

Sketch Saturday #42

I used my favourite stamp again for this week's challenge sketch from Sketch Saturday. 'Daisy' by Elisabeth Bell, from Sugar Nellie is a beautiful image to work with.

This time I have used DCWV cardstock and patterned paper, together with a little paper from K&Company's Hopscotch boy. The sentiment is from Stampin' UP!

Stamps and Smiles - #6 Challenge

I couldn't decide which of these two cards I like best .... so had to show you them both :) I know they are very similar ... what does it matter really? BUT I couldn't make myself leave one out! ...... I think I'm going crazy!!!!!

Anyway .... I have used a new sketch challenge site today - Stamps and Smiles. I needed to make a couple of 'boy' cards and the sketch looked good for these. All the papers used are from K&Company - Wild Saffron range. The sentiment is Stampin' UP! and the fab stamp image is 'Rockstar' Luca - from Sugar Nellie. He was absolutely brilliant to colour - using Promarkers - hence I now have a pile of him ready to mount up and make into more cards! :)

Sketch Sunday - Crafts 4 Eternity #23

This week's sketch has an additional theme of 'Mother's Day'. The stamp I've used for this one is from Sugar Nellie and another by Elisabeth Bell called 'Sweet 'n Sassy'. I love all the Elisabeth Bell stamps - they are just so cute! : )

The papers used are from K & Company - Wild Saffron. The ribbon is from Stampin' UP! and is one of the new ones from the new mini catalogue (available to buy from April 1st). It's a grogeous striped grosgrain in So Saffron (also available in Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue).

First Cards With Lace!

I definitely seem to be going through my Pink and Green phase this week :) I do love it! The layout for these cards was inspired by the Mojo Monday week 76 challenge. I was originally going to follow it pretty exactly, but it didn't quite work out that way once I had decided to try the lace.

The stamp is from Sugar Nellie - Elisabeth Bell's 'Penpal'. This one is almost as lovely to colour as 'Daisy' .... I have used my Promarkers as usual.

The papers are from SEI, mixed with a little Bazzill.

Another With Lace : )

My second effort today. Again this is a Sugar Nellie stamp - 'Flowers' by Elisabeth Bell. This time I have used Fancy Pants papers, with some Stampin' UP! cardstock.

Sketch Sunday - #22 Crafts 4 Eternity

Yet another wonderful sketch from the Crafts For Eternity blog.

I've used My Mind's Eye papers again for this one :) Pink Bazzill mats and Green Stampin' Up! mats. Sentiment is also from Clare Curd's Signiature Collection - from Papermania. The ruffled ribbon is pretty - made by Bazzill.

The gorgeous image is by Elisabeth Bell called 'Pen Pal' - from Sugar Nellie. Coloured using Promarker pens :)

Another Win! - Image Box Kit

Last half term I was lucky enough to win the kit for this box from Sarah's blog Card Oasis . Sarah had been running giveaways every day during the week and I finally managed to win the last one :)

The box is fab! Very easy to put together. Inside it holds 6 little folders which you can use to store your stamped images. Sarah was kind enough to fill these with gorgeous little easter chick images for me :) If you haven't come across Sarah's blog before, make sure you take a look - she creates the most amazing things!!! :)

Pink and Green is always a gorgeous combination and I am very happy with the result. I also used a little Bazzill for the pink mats and a little Stampin' UP! for the green mats. Coloured with Promarker pens : ) The sentiment is from Clare Curd's Signiature Range at Papermania.

Sketch Sunday - #21 Crafts 4 Eternity

Another fab sketch from Crafts 4 Eternity this week! I can see myself using this one fairly regularly :)

Papers are .... again .... K & Company Hopscotch Boy collection ... I know .... I keep coming back to these! The colours are a fab match with the Promarker pens I use. I have also used a little Bazzill cardstock. The ribbon used is AMM and the sentiment is from the Stampin' UP - Be Happy.

Sketch Saturday Challenge #40 - version 2!

I wasn't completely happy with the card I made for this challenge (see below), so decided to give it another go. The only real difference with this one - apart from the slight difference in colour - is that I have matted each piece of paper before using it on the card ........... and I much prefer this one :) I think it looks a bit more 'finished'.

Sketch Saturday Challenge #40

This week's Sketch Saturday challenge was excellent! I really liked putting this card together.

I have used one of my new Gorjuss Girl stamps from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with Promarkers. All the papers are HOTP. The sentiment is a Letraset rubon.
