Stamp With Us Challenge

Stamp With Us have a recipe challenge on their site this week. The recipe is ....

2 Pattern Papers
1 Ribbon
4 Brads

I decided to have a go this week and created the above card :)

I have used all Stampin' UP! products this time ....

Image - From Playful Petals stamp set. All stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and coloured with the Stampin' Markers.
Cardstock - Whisper White and Pretty In Pink
Pattern Paper - All from the Tea Party collection
Accessories - Old Olive Brads, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and So Saffron grosgrain ribbon (not available yet in the UK).

This wasn't a quick card, the image took quite a bit of work. But I love this stamp set, it's gorgeous and I love that the Tea Party papers have been made especially to go with it :)

Stamp Something With Showers Or Flowers

My final challenge for today! This one from Stamp Something. Their challenge is to use 'Showers and/or Flowers'.

I have used a Miss Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm as my image, coloured with my Promarkers. The gorgeous flower is a combination of two from Prima. The papers and ribbon are from HOTP. Stampin' UP! Scallop circle and circle punches used to create the sentiment mats and the sentiment itself is from the Stampin' UP! Circle of Friendship stamp set.

Our Creative Corner - Colour Challenge

This week's Our Creative Corner challenge is to create a card using your favourite colour combination. This was really hard ..... coz I have so many! :) But I settled on Red, Green and Brown. I use this a lot and with the right shades of the colours think they look great together.

The image is a Messy Rabbit stamp, coloured with Promarker pens. I have used DCWV cardstock and one of my favourite Stampin' UP! sentiment stamps from the Very Versatile set. The papers are from Daisy Bucket Designs, Astor Park collection. The sentiment mats are created using Stampin' UP! large oval and word window punches together with their Real Red grosgrain ribbon.

The Sugar Bowl - Challenge #9

My entry for the latest Sugar Bowl challenge 'Men'.

The stamp used is called 'Karate Luca' from Sugar Nellie. The papers are all from the Well Worn collection from Paper Loft. I used the Scalloped Oval and Word Window punches from Stampin' UP! to create the sentiment mats. The sentiment itself is another stamp from the Very Versatile set, also by Stampin' UP!. The cardstock used is Stampin' UP!'s Basic Black.

Choo Choo Card

I haven't had much of a chance to post anything for a couple of weeks now .... Just too busy! I've been getting some samples ready for my Open House next weekend and finished this card today. All the products used are from Stampin' UP! apart from the alpha stickers .... unfortunately I haven't any alpha stamps ..... yet! :)

The card uses a new stamp set called Choo Choo from the new mini catalogue, together with the Stampin' Wheel called Right On Track. It's my take on one of the cards shown in the catalogue. I have used Whisper White cardstock together with some of the gorgeous Textured Real Red cardstock. I used the Stampin' Markers with the stamp set to get the different colours on each stamp. The sentiment is one of the Level 1 Hostess sets - Best Yet and goes really well with this card :)

I've Been Tagged!

I was Tagged by Alison over a week ago and this is the first chance I've had to check my files.

Apparently you have to publish the 4th photo in your 4th photo folder. Here is mine ....

:) Aren't they beauties? This one was taken by my daughter Lauren last year. It was only a couple of weeks after we moved house .... hence the boxes .... although those are actually still in that same spot still waiting for be unpacked .... oops!!!!!! We had only had Poppy about a week at this point and she was already right at home. Lily was very good with her ... and still is - although it's definitely Poppy that rules the house now!

I now have to 'tag' four other people. I'm not sure I have four to be honest as most of the peeps I 'know' have already been tagged .... and Alison pinched two of them! So .......

Lisa at Lisa's Stampin' Weblog
Anne at Anne's Corner
Terri at Milly Moo Cards

Sorry guys .... you've all been tagged! Show us what you've got hiding in those files! :)
