Winter Wonderland - #11 'Twinkle Sparkle'

Another week gone ... we are getting closer and closer to the Christmas season. There's now only something like 20 weeks to go until the 'day'! If you haven't joined us at Winter Wonderland yet, pop over and have a look at our challenges. Take some of the stress and strain out of the run up to Christmas by doing a little preparation now ... with us :o)

Gorgeous cards again last week for our 'Winter Wonderland' theme and our sketch. Thank you to everyone who took part, it's such a pleasure to see your creations each week. Thank you also to the wonderful Beth for being our Guest Designer for last week and this week. Beth makes the most gorgeous collages. Her blog is beautiful and well worth a look :o)

This week's theme at Winter Wonderland is 'Twinkle Sparkle'. We are fortunate again this week to have Regina Easter of The Cutting Cafe as our sponsor. The winner will be drawn at random from all our entries this week. They will be able to pick 3 kits of their own choice from The Cutting Cafe online store. Regina's site offers a wonderful selection of downloadable stamps and templates .... at pocket money prices! The galleries on the site are amazing and offer endless inspiration!

I have made a card and gift bag this week. I used the Heart Bag Template from The Cutting Cafe for the bag, adapting it slightly and putting an extra flap on the top to seal the bag.

All products used are from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise stated. For the main image on the bag and the card I cut out one of the snowflakes from the Ski Slope DSP. I then highlighted the design with a glue pen and covered it in Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Cardstock ........ Whisper White
Pattern Paper .... Ski Slope
Ink .............. Bordering Blue
Stamp Set ........ Occasional Greetings
Punches .......... Scallop Oval, Large Oval
Ribbon ........... Whisper White Taffetta
Other Products ... Beads from the Pretties Kit, Mirri card from Joanna's Sheen's online store

Teri, I think we may be crafting twins separated at birth (heehee). I also used this paper today. I love the bling on yours.

I really hope that Lily is getting better and that the fur on her paws is growing back.

Sara xx
