Winter Wonderland - #18 Gift Box, Gift Bag or Wrapping Paper

Our 'Hot Chocolate' theme at Winter Wonderland last week proved very tempting and we had some really lovely entries. Thank you again to everyone who took part :o)

Our inspirational theme this week is to .... 'Make a Gift Box, A Gift Bag Or Stamp some Wrapping Paper.'. Sam remains our Guest DT and Rachel also returns for this week.

ALSO .... our wonderful DT Sam is offering up a fabulous prize for this weeks 'winner'. So come along and join us and be one step closer to being ready for Christmas this year!

For my DT project this week I have made both a Gift Box and a Gift Bag. The 'look' of each of these was inspired by a tutorial for a little storage box by Susie Nelson - I love her paper bow! I have made the basic box in a completely different way though which uses metric measurements and not quite so much cardstock :o) The Gift Bag shape was pinched from a tutorial on SCS, but again I've changed it to use metric measurements and to make the bag bigger :o)

The Stampin' Up! Ski Slope DSP used here is unfortunately no longer available .... such a shame I think as the paper is beautiful.

All products are from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise stated .....

Cardstock ........ Bazzil Smooth Brown Cardstock
Pattern Paper .... Ski Slope DSP
Ribbon ........... 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain

Don't forget to check out the other DT's gorgeous creations this week!

Gorgeous Teri and I'm gutted about the Ski Slope paper too. I'd sold loads of it at a w/s only to find it had sold out when I put the order in.

Really lovely boxes, Teri, and you're right about that paper, it was really nice. I was sure it was going to be in the new catty, wish I'd bought more!
