Feeling Sentimental .... with Sneak Peek!
Another little sneak peek on this card for you today :o)
The Natural Trim ribbon will be coming in our new Spring/Summer catalogue (out 1st February). It's a perfect accessory for this 'vintage' card.
I love the images in the Feeling Sentimental Sale-a-Bration stamp set. This is one of the FREE gifts that you can choose when you purchase £45 of product from the catalogues.
The background was created by inking the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder with Versamark and running it through the Big Shot with some Newsprint DSP. I then heat embossed it with Black Embossing powder. And ...... yep I know the print is really going in the wrong way for the orientation of this card :o) I changed my mind about the layout after I'd finished embossing it and didn't want to waste the sample ........ or do it again :o)

Lauren's Birthday :o)
This is the card I made for my daughter Lauren's 17th birthday this week. It is very heavily based on a beautiful card by Gill Prescott. As soon as I saw Gill's card, I knew it would be perfect for Lauren.
I think the dual colour on the background stamp is stunning and the combination of green and pink is gorgeous ....... so thank you Gill :o)

The colour combination used here was Crumb Cake, Raspberry Ripple, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White.

Masked Valentine - Hearts Framelits
This card came about quite by chance :o)
I had used one of the Heart Framelits to cut out hearts from a strip of card stock. When I went to throw this strip out, I noticed that the cut hearts looked really pretty all in a row but at different angles - so I decided to play :o)
I held the strip over the top of a Pool Party base card and sponged Pool Party ink inside each heart - I then repeated this for the base of the card. It's a really lovely effect :o)

Another Sneak Peek from the forthcoming Sale-a-Bration Promotion today :o)
I have used the lovely Madison Avenue Stamp set this time, together with more of the Sycamore Street DSP and Ribbon.
I love this little floral stamp because it can either be punched out using the 1 ¼" Circle Punch or Die Cut with the smallest of the Floral Frames Framelits. I Die Cut the image this time and used the punch to create a backing circle.

Another Challenge Card - With Heart Framelits
I decided to use the sketch challenge over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday for today's card.
I'm still using my Sale-a-Bration products but this time I have also included a little sneak peek of a stamp set coming in the new Spring/Summer catalogue in February. I have used it to create the background on the card :o)
I used the Hearts Collection Framelits on this card to create the petals for the flower.
Stamp Set: Collage Curios, Pretty Petites
Colours: Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White
Paper: Sycamore Street
Ribbon: Sycamore Street Pool Party Ribbon
Big Shot: Hearts Collection Framelits, Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder

Quilted Heart Birthday
I have been playing with the Hearts Collection Framelits this week. You can find these in the Main Catalogue on page 191 £22.95. The set consists of 6 different sizes of hearts, the largest of which is scalloped.
I am planning to use them for my Project Class for February, but I've also had a little time to do a few more projects with them :o)
I love this very clean and simple card. I used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder for the background - I always seem to reach for this one when I want texture, but no fuss :o)
Of course I have used the Sale-a-Bration exclusive products again - I really do enjoy using these papers!
I covered a square of card stock with four of the paper's designs and then used the framelit to cut the heart. This was then embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.
Although I have created a Birthday card, these framelits are of course perfect for Valentines :o)

Hostess Appreciation Event
Back in August last year I held my first Hostess Appreciation Event.
This is a free Event. I invited everyone who had hosted a party for me in that year - and also anyone who had been a member of one of my Monthly Stampers Clubs. It is my way of saying 'Thank You' to everyone concerned and showing them how much I appreciate their support.
My lovely ladies made several projects using the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Papers that were part of Sale-a-bration last year - and later available to buy for a limited period.
This next card uses a technique I absolutely love - Faux Patchwork. You just punch out squares of DSP and layer them onto a piece of plain card stock before cutting your Top Note shape - this is still one of my favourite Stampin' Up! Dies!
Finally, the last project was another Handkerchief Fancy Fold card. This one uses a full 12" x 12" sheet of card stock. All the scoring was completed using the Simply Scored Tool and its Diagonal Plate.
Would you like to join me at my Hostess Appreciation Event this year? It will be held on Sunday 29th September.
There will be no cost for the morning and it will be open to everyone who has hosted a party for me during this year.
Or - if you don't fancy hosting a party, or are unable to - why not consider joining one of my Monthly Stampers Clubs. If you would like more details of these, click on the tab under my main Blog Heading. Every member will receive an invitation to this very special Event :o)
