European Convention - General Swaps 2

This little card is the second design I took to Convention for my swaps.

This one was a little more involved. I used the Masking Tape Technique to create the background. To do this, you lay a length of Masking Tape across an ink pad and press it into the ink. You then lay the tape over the cardstock. It's quite quick to do once you get the hang of it :o)

The Cherry Cobbler ink came out too dark for what I wanted initially, so I stamped the tape 'off' onto scrap first before laying it over the card stock.

European Convention - General Swap 1

This is one of the little cards I took for my General swaps when I attended Convention in Manchester last month. I didn't make too many swaps this year, I just didn't have time. I had two designs and made about 35 of each. These were then swapped with the others attending and I brought back so many beautiful card and project samples :o)

Season Of Style - Christmas Scrapbook Pages

I created two more Christmas Pages for this month's Scrapbook class.

They both use the wonderful Season of Style DSP - both from the 12"x12" and the Stack. This is a fabulous design for using up all those small pieces left over :o)

There is a Sneak Peak on the Pages of a forthcoming Sale-a-Bration product. Can you spot it??????

I used the Top Note die to create the Sleigh, just shaping the top edge with scissors to get the shape I needed.

This second page used the Mosaic Madness stamp set and matching punch. It makes a wonderful Christmas Tree!

The background on both Pages was created by placing the Mosaic Embossing Folder open, under the Cherry Cobbler Core-dinations cardstock and lightly sanding it.
