Today's card uses the Blended Bloom stamp again ...... I wanted to see how it looked with several layers :o)
I stamped the image 3 times and decided where to make my cuts for the layers.
I coloured and cut out one full image for the bottom. The middle layer included one 'row' of petals around the centre and the final layer was just the centre itself.
Each layer was 'fussy' cut BUT this wasn't too bad as the shape is a fairly simple one.... I know some of you hate to cut out, but It's worth giving it a go with this beautiful stamp :o)
I usually cut with a narrow white border around the image, but this didn't look right when layered up, so in the end I cut as close to the black lines as I could.
The card was simple to create, but took a while to colour. I used the Blendabilities pens in both Pumpkin and Daffodil. The triple bow is created from our lovely Seam Binding ribbon.
This is the final card we created at my Project Class this month.
Again, I used the Owl Punch, but this time created a little House for him :o)
I am loving the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits! They are so versatile. I used one of the labels to create the top of the House and also for the sentiment mat.
Here is the complete class ...... it has definitely been one of my favourites! :o)
I have put together a video tutorial for you for this final card. I used a different embossing folder this time and a different label framelit for the sentiment but apart from that, the card is the same :o)
A5 Baked Brown Sugar Base Card
14.4cm x 10cm Whisper White and Coastal Cabana Mats
Another card from my July Project Class :o) I kept the additional cards clean and simple, so my ladies would all be able to finish in time. This one uses the Owl Punch ..... I don't know how long it's been since I've got this one out! I loved using it again :o) I used the Ovals collection framelits to create the frame for the Owls and pierced around the larger of them using the Occasions templates. The background is embossed using the Chevron Embossing Folder.
