By The Seashore - Scrapbook Page

This was the second Page created at my August Scrapbook Class.

There are quite a few different elements on this Page, so I knew it would take a lot longer than the first Page :o)

I used the By The Seashore stamp set for all the stamping and decided to use that for my Page Title too :o)

I used a retired alphabet die set for the title, but you could use any die set for this.

I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Soft Suede and Pool Party to stamp the shells, crab and starfish. These were cut out by hand and added to the Page using either Glue Dots or Dimensionals. All the edges were sponged using the same colour ink as the stamping.

I love how the little Gold Sequins look on the Page. They coordinate perfectly with the gold thread running through the Gold Baker's Twine.

The Sailor Knots on the Baker's Twine proved a little tricky for my ladies ..... but I love to challenge them :o)

The Orange and White tassel was created by knotting a piece of our new Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim (Autumn / Winter catalogue page 45). I then unraveled the ends below the knot to create the tassel look.

I think the little piece of Burlap also adds to the seaside scene. I just frayed the ends a little to add to the overall look :o)
