Crushed Curry - Lotus Blossom

Here is another card using the Lotus Blossom Sale-a-Bration stamp set.

Remember this could be your FREE choice item with an order of £45 (from 6th January).

I love this set, it's so sweet :o) It's also another Photopolymer stamp set, so this makes lining the images up easier and quicker to do!

I used both Crushed Curry and So Saffron ink to stamp all the flowers.

The three flower images in the set are actually numbered for you so you know which order to stamp them in. They also have an extra little tab on them which helps you line up the images on top of each other.

I started with the smallest image and the darkest ink - Crushed Curry.

For the second image, I used Crushed Curry again, but I stamped it 'off' before using it to make it a shade lighter.

The third full, block image was stamped with So Saffron ink.

This is the opposite sequence to how I would normally stamp with 2-step or 3-step stamp set. Usually you stamp the largest, lightest image first and go smaller and darker each time. It wouldn't really matter which order you stamp your images, but I definitely found it easier to line them up by starting with the smallest and darkest image :o)

I stamped all the images down the left side and across the bottom of the white mat. Then I stamped three more onto scrap Whisper White card and cut these out by hand. These I layered onto the first set using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Four You stamp set.
