December Wonder - Wreath Christmas Cards

I have more December Wonder cards to show you today :o) I really do LOVE this little stamp set!

This time I used the two snowflake stamps included in the set to make a Christmas Wreath.

I used Soft Sky ink and the largest of the two snowflakes to stamp at the top/centre of the Whisper White cardstock mat. I then punched out a 1" circle from copy paper and added temporary adhesive to the reverse before positioning it just under the bottom of the stamped snowflake.

Using the same stamp, I stamped around the circle at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock before stamping again in between each of these.

I then used the smaller snowflake stamp and Lost Lagoon ink to stamp between and towards the top of each pair of snowflakes already stamped .... hope that makes sense :o)

The stamps create such a pretty Wreath and I love the colours together with the Real Red.

I also love the shape you get in the centre :o)

After trying the card with the Blues, I had to have another go with some Greens.

I chose Pear Pizzazz for the larger snowflake and Garden Green for the smaller one - again, I think it looks great with the red :o)

I added basic Rhinestones to each of the smaller snowflakes. I was tempted to colour them red with the Blendabilities markers - BUT I was looking to create a quick design for my Christmas cards, so didn't use them this time :o) Of course you could add Pearls instead, they would look just as pretty!
