Big Day With Chalk Ink

Big Day is another of the Exclusive products that you could select as your FREEBIE during our Sale-a-Bration promotion!

I have also used some of the papers from the Best Year Ever DSP pack on this card, which is another of the FREEBIES that you could select.

Remember you can choose one product from the Sale-a-Bration flyer for each £45 you spend in our current catalogues :o) You can view all the catalogues and the flyer by clicking on the pictures in my right hand sidebar.

I stamped the cake onto Whisper White card using Memento ink and coloured it using some of our Blendabilities Markers.

Did you know that you can also select any pack of the Blendabilities Markers (page 212 of the Annual Catalogue) as your Sale-a-Bration Freebie if you did not want to select any of the new products in the actual Sale-a-Bration flyer? These all have new item codes if you wish to choose a pack. You can see them on page 20 of the flyer.

I have used more new products from the Spring / Summer catalogue too :o)

Firstly the black panel with the sentiment on it is some of our new Chalkboard paper .... although it's not paper at all, it's lovely thick card :o)

This is beautiful card which has been treated on one side so it looks and feels like a blackboard.

Also ..... the sentiment stamped in yellow was actually stamped using one of our new ColorBox Chalk ink pads! There are three available in the Spring/Summer catalogue - Yellow Citrus, Rose Coral and Aquamarine.

I have had a quick play with the pads and found that ... perhaps obviously .... these pads work brilliantly with our Chalkboard paper (middle panel above).

If you use them on our normal Basic Black card (left hand panel), you will hardly see the stamping at all.

On Whisper White card, all the colours are gorgeous too! :o)

The ink takes a little while to dry. You can either just leave it or give it a blast from a Heat Gun :o)
