The Berry Basket Bigz die is a lovely new die from Stampin' Up! I used it at Christmas, but wanted to play with it some more :o)
This time I used our Stapler to put the basket together. It was so much easier than trying to mess around with glue! :o)
I used the Petal Potpourri stamp set to decorate it. This set has a matching punch - the Flower Medallion, which makes it quick and easy to use. The stamp set and punch are also available as a Bundle in the Spring / Summer catalogue, so you can get a saving of 15% on the individual prices.
I stamped the flowers in both Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum and doubled them up before positioning them onto the basket. The centres were stamped in Daffodil Delight and although I cut them out by hand, you could use the 3/4" Circle punch.
The base of the Basket was cut from Perfect Plum cardstock. I used the Hardwood stamp with Elegant Eggplant ink to stamp over it, giving a wood effect.
The Tag was cut from Whisper White cardstock using the Note Tag Punch - this has carried over from the Autumn / Winter catalogue and is actually in our Weekly Deals this week for the amazing price of £11.63!
I inked the Flower with Daffodil Delight. Before stamping it onto the Tag, I stamped it 'off' onto scrap paper to make it lighter. The sentiment comes from Painted Petals and was stamped in Elegant Eggplant.
