Sheltering Tree - Reverse Stamping

One of the Techniques Stampin' Up! showcased at Leadership earlier this year, was stamping with the reverse of Photopolymer stamps.

This is a really fun technique. You just flip your Photopolymer stamp over and stick the normal stamping side to your acrylic block - leaving the smooth back side to be inked up.

I used Old Olive ink for this card and stamped it 'off' before stamping it onto the card. I then cleaned the stamp and flipped it over again, so I could stamp with the 'normal' side and used the full strength ink for stamping the foliage on the tree.

Guy Greetings

A super simple card today - created using the Guy Greetings stamp set again!

I never used to like creating single layer cards - but times seemed to have changed and I really enjoy doing these quick, easy to put in the post cards now :o)

Early Espresso is my favourite neutral. I love the deep, dark brown - you can put any other colour with it and it will 'go' :o)

Painted Petals

I have used Pool Party, Old Olive and Crushed Curry on this card - a combination straight out of the Colour Coach :o)

I love this tool and every so often pick a card 'blind' and use those colours to make a project.

The stamp set I've used is Painted Petals - a gorgeous set full of beautiful flower stamps. You can find it in the Spring / Summer catalogue and it's available in Wood mount, Clear mount or Photopolymer.

Love Is Kindness - With Gold Soiree

This is the last of my Love Is Kindness cards for a while :o) I coloured a whole batch of them together and made cards with them all .... and this is my final one :o)

The image was coloured with alcohol markers and cut out by hand.

The Gold Soiree Specialty papers add a touch of luxury :o) I love this diagonal striped sheet.

The white mat was embossed using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder. I love this folder and use it constantly. It adds lovely texture, but suits my Clean and Simple style :o)
