Love Is Kindness - Technique Card

Well ....... I think I may have found my favourite Technique so far! And ..... I have tried many! :o)

This Technique is called Wax Resist. I have put off trying it and using it in class because you need to get the iron out! I do not like to iron! In fact, it's right up there with cleaning the house in my list of dislikes :o) BUT ....... I needed another Technique for this month's class and decided that this month I would do 'it' :o)

I am so glad I did, this Technique is gorgeous .... and so quick and simple.

I cut a piece of wax paper just a little bigger than my card stock layer. Then ran it through the Big Shot with the Lovely Lace embossing folder.

All you then need to do is heat up your iron (no steam), place your embossed waxed paper over your card stock (put both pieces between two sheets of copy paper) and iron it for a few seconds. The waxed pattern transfers to your card.

I then used a Brayer with Crisp Cantaloupe ink to cover the card stock.   Absolutely stunning! I may well have to bore you with this Technique over the next few weeks ..... I love it and want to use it more! :o)
