This is the second of the Technique cards created at my class this week.
The flowers were created using the Faux Suede technique. This is such an old technique. I can remember demonstrating it when I first joined Stampin' Up! We haven't used it in Class though, so I included it this time.
You punch or die cut your chosen shape(s) first. Then using a Bone Folder you 'work' the cardstock shape between your thumb and the Bone Folder to break up the fibres. Keep rotating the card and turning it over and before long you will see the cardstock start to separate at the edges and open up. Carefully pull the two layers apart and you will see the 'faux suede' look in the centre :o)
