Welcome Back To Our Monthly Challenge!
This is the kit we got to play with in August .......
And .... This is what I created .......
I kept it very simple this month :o)
I used the Sketched Dots Gift Bag as an envelope for my card.
Because the bags are see through, I was very careful to stamp and heat emboss the image on the bag right over the image on the card.
A length of our lovely Organza Ribbon provided the closure for the 'envelope' and I accented it with the beautiful metal rimmed Pearl from the kit.
The Blossom stamp from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set was stamped in each of the four corners of the card - again heat embossed with Silver Embossing powder.
I used some of our Silver Foil card as the layer under the main panel. And ...... the main panel itself was stamped with my favourite flower of all ..... from the Best Thoughts Hostess set. It looks just as beautiful like this as it does when it's water coloured :o)
If you go over to Monica's Blog you can see photos of the projects some of our Players made this month.

Are you up for the Challenge and ready to join us.....?
Myself and the lovely Monica Gale run the You Can Create It Challenge for the UK.
Each month we will send you a little Mystery Kit containing a few Stampin' Up! supplies. The Challenge is for you to use those supplies to create a project. It could be a card, scrapbook page or any kind of 3D item.
You must use at least a part of everything we provide in the kit when you create your project. If you wish to, you can also add additional items from your own supplies.
When you have finished your project, if you take a photo of it and send it to us .... we will showcase it on one of our blogs on the 1st day of the following month - along side our own creations for that month.
If you have a Facebook Page or if you Blog yourself, you can display it there with a link back to us if you wish to :o)
The cost of one kit for one month is £2.50. Or you can subscribe for 6 months worth of kits for the reduced cost of £12.00 (postage and packing has already been included in the above prices).
The closing date for ordering this month's kit is Monday 10th August.
August's kit will be sent out on Sunday 16th August - at the latest. You will have until Friday 28th August to complete your project and send us a photo of it (optional).
If you would like to join us please Email us (youcancreateituk@yahoo.co.uk) and we will send you details of how to pay.
