Best Thoughts - Birthday Card

Here is the card I created to go in the box I showed you yesterday.

I love it! And ..... fortunately the lady who commissioned it liked it too :o)

It's clean ..... simple ..... and just what I like to do :o)

It's a large card - A4 folded in half. This is the first time I've ever made a card that big! I was worried about filling the space, but in the end it really wasn't a problem at all.

I used the smaller Butterflies for the card - but still kept the three layers that I did for the box.

The flowers also have three layers. I stamped the full image directly onto the card front using Basic Black Archival ink. The next layer was just the flower heads, without the leaves and the final layer were the three main flower heads.

I also added an Insert inside the card - another first for me - and stamped the corner with another flower :o)

All the flowers were water coloured using an Aqua Painter and the ink pads.
