This was another of the Technique cards my ladies made in class this month.
Again .... it showcases a simple technique .... but a useful one.
Some people find it really difficult to get glue onto the back of intricate die cuts - like the 'Merry' on this card - it can be very frustrating for them. I have a couple of ladies that struggle with this, even when using the new Fine Tip Glue Pen - so this alternate way is perfect for them.
Basically you just lay down a strip of Tear Tape adhesive and remove the backing. Then you stick your die cut directly on to it. Glitter is then added to cover all the remaining exposed sticky areas .... and you are done.
I used Dazzling Diamonds for this card, so it's very subtle but lovely and sparkly :o)
Festival of Trees is another of the stamp sets from last year that carried over into our Annual Catalogue.
I stamped the trees in Lost Lagoon and then added the trim in Cherry Cobbler. The 'baubles' were stamped in Versamark before heat embossing with Silver embossing powder.
