Gift Packaging ......

I have some pretty packaging to share with you today!

I bought these mini gift bags from Ikea a few years back .... I have loads of them .... but haven't used any! They are super cute and a lovely dinky size, perfect for jewellery :o)

They needed decorating though! I used the Spiral Flower Die to create the flowers and the Vintage Leaves stamp set and matching framelits to make the leaves.

The big Rhinestones were the last of my Retired ones, so you won't find these in our current catalogue :o)

Team Gifts - For On Stage Local - Telford UK

Last weekend I attended Stampin' Up!'s Onstage Local Event in Telford, UK. The Live Event was held at the same time - although over more days - but it was in Utah, USA this time.

Three of my Downline were there with me and we had a really lovely time.

Since I lost mum, crafting hasn't come easy to me. I haven't wanted to do it and have had little interest in it. I understand why -  it's because it's always been 'Therapy' for me .... a way to relax and wind down. BUT it's quiet time too and thinking time ..... and that's exactly what I don't need right now. Keeping really busy and not having time to think are what's helping me get through the days at the moment.

However, I really wanted to make a little gift for each of my Downline and also my lovely Upline Monica ..... and this is what I created for them :o)

The three little boxes in the front of the photo contain 'special' beads for my Downline, to add to their Team Key Rings.

I love this sentiment. It comes from the Suite Sayings stamp set. I cut it out using one of the Ovals Collection Framelits.

The paper is from the Subtles 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper stack, sponged to match the Note Books below.

I used the punch on the Gift Bag Punch Board to cut the sides of the top and bottom flaps - the box itself was created using the Simply Scoreboard.

Inside each box was a decorated Note Book and Pen. I used a different colour for each person - but all from the Subtles Collection - So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride and Soft Sky.

I stamped the beautiful flower from the Helping Me Grow stamp set using Black Archival Ink and then coloured it using the Aqua Painter and ink pads.

The flower stems were coloured using Pear Pizzazz.

I then cut the image out using another framelit from the Ovals Collection before sponging it.

I first sponged Sahara Sand lightly all over before adding a little So Saffron. The sides were then sponged using Crumb Cake and a little Soft Suede. Finally I sponged Early Espresso on to the edges only.

I added a black panel to the front and back of the Notebook, embossing this with the Elegant Dots folder first.

A Message ......

Dear Blog Readers and Followers

It's been a little while since I have posted on my Blog or Facebook Page. Several of you have contacted me asking if I'm ok .... or if I have stopped crafting or being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

I am absolutely fine and I am still a Demonstrator :o)

Sadly, I lost my beautiful mum suddenly last month and since then I have done very little crafting. The last few weeks have been incredibly difficult for myself and my family. She was our centre, the warmest, most giving and loving person you could ever hope to have in your life. We are devastated to have lost her ... and so suddenly.

I am still not ready to get back into my normal crafting and posting routine, but you will see some occasional posts from me - starting soon :o)

Lots of Love ....
