Birthday Blooms - Quick Technique Card


I held my Monthly Technique class this week .... and this was one of the cards my ladies created :o)

 This technique doesn't have a name .... Sue, one of my lovely Team demo'd it to us some time ago and I had been meaning to include it in my class for some time. 


Before punching out your shape, you just use a Stampin' Marker to go around the shape of the punch as you hold it on the card stock. It looks great whichever end of the pen you use, but I chose the writing tip this time to give a narrow outline.

It's so simple to do ..... why not give it a try? :o)

Team Training - Sneak Peek - Love & Affection


I held my monthly Team Training meeting this week. Each month I design a little project for them to complete as the Make & Take. 

This month I decided to use one of the stamp sets coming in June with our new Annual Catalogue - called Love & Affection.


The stamp set is Photopolymer, so it's quick and easy to use. I love that you can line things up accurately without getting out the stamp-a-ma-jig!

The sentiment comes from another new set - Birthday Banners.

The pinky colour used for stamping on this card is one of our new In Colours - Flirty Flamingo.


There are lots of floral images in this set .... and sentiments too - the above card shows one of them.


The papers used on all these Notecards coordinate with the stamp set and are called Affectionately Yours. This is a Specialty paper. Two of the sheets have beautiful Copper Foil on them.


This sentiment is from yet another new set ..... Thankful Thoughts.
