Floral Phrases with Detailed Floral Framelits

As soon as I saw the beautiful layout for these products in the new Annual Catalogue .... I was hooked :o) I don't think I'm alone either!

These were the first products in my order that I decided to try out. One of the problems you can get with these very intricate dies is that you can spend 'hours' picking out all the little bits once cut. BUT when using the Precision Base Plate together with the Die Brush, you do not get this problem. All the pieces cut cleanly and are quick to remove.

My only problem with these simple and very beautiful cards was sticking all the little pieces of Dimensionals on the reverse and taking off the backings ....... I could have adhered the layer flat to the card, but I wanted it raised and supported. So lots of small pieces of Dimensional were needed ..... and that is the only thing that took time :o)

The catalogue layout is in Night of Navy and White so I decided to duplicate these colours for my first play.

The dies are easy to use. I held them in place using a little Washi Tape - the Precision Plate is not magnetic - and this stopped them moving as I used the Big Shot to cut them.

You get several sentiments in the stamp set ... and all have pretty fonts.

I reversed the colours for my second card using the thick White card for the base and Night of Navy for my layer.

The sentiment was stamped using White Craft ink and Heat Embossed using White powder.

Two very simple .... and elegant cards, ..... created (fairly) quickly :o)

I would love to make a lot of these for my mother-in-law for her birthday. Are the dimensions somewhere? Please forgive me if I missed them. Or a list of what is needed to order? (I have the Floral phrases stamps and dies). Thank you - beautiful card!!!

I know this post is almost two years old, but I just came across it on Pinterest today. I have these dies and I’m just wondering if these cards are 5 x7 in side?

Hi Sue ... no they are just standard UK size - made using half a sheet of A4 card xx
