Sitting Here with Sheltering Tree

This was one of the cards I included in my Monthly Technique Class last week.

Sitting Here is a beautiful stamp set and this was my first time using it.

The Technique used is on the cushions. It's just to add more dimension to them so they are not flat. All you have to do to achieve this is turn the image over and place it onto a Piercing mat and then run your embossing stylus around the edges. This will cause the edges to raise up, so when you turn the image back over it has more shape to it. Stampin' Dimensionals were then used to position the cushions onto the seat.

I coloured the images using an Aqua Painter and the ink pads - all the new In Colours were used :o)

The tree foliage and the grass images came from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.

The background was lightly sponged using Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz ink.
