Happiest of Days - In Melon Mambo

This was the last card I created while playing with the Happiest of Days stamp set a little while ago.

I chose Melon Mambo to go with the Black and White this time .... still with a hint of Lemon Lime Twist though :o)

The Stitched Shapes framelits and Layering Ovals framelits were perfect for this large sentiment stamp. These are still my favourite of all the framelits we carry :o)

Birthday Delivery - Double Z-Fold Card

This card was VERY heavily inspired by the lovely Jackie Bultje. I loved Jackie's card and thought it would be perfect for my Project class this month.

The Birthday Memories papers are gorgeous. There is one sheet especially which I knew I wouldn't want to cut up. After seeing Jackie's card, I knew with some careful cutting I would be able to incorporate all the images from that sheet onto one card ... and here it is! :o)

I used one of the sentiments from the Birthday Delivery stamp set to stamp directly onto Mr Fox's banner.

I used the balloon die from the coordinating framelits to cut out more balloons from the paper and add them to my card.

The Poodle, Girl and Cake were all cut from the papers using the framelits. I also cut blanks of each of them and added these to the reverse to strengthen them.

Happiest Of Days - With Brushstrokes

I have another card to share with you today, created using the Happiest of Days stamp set.

Obviously I am still loving Lemon Lime Twist and had to use it again, together with Black :o) I also used a little Pumpkin Pie, Dapper Denim and Berry Burst.

The ribbon used is the beautiful Lemon Lime Twist ¼" Ombre ribbon.

I stamped the Brushstrokes 'off' before using it on my background layer. I didn't want it too bright.

The images were coloured using the Aqua Painter and ink pads.
