Another - Background Bits

Here we are again with another Background Bits card! I did say that I had made several ..... there are more to come and I hope you like them!

While playing with new sets, I like to use as many of the images as possible and see what I can do with them. This wasn't a problem with this set at all, I had so many ideas for all of them :o)

I teamed the lovely Berry Burst with Sahara Sand this time and love how well they go together.

I also used both sentiment stamps - isn't the font lovely?

Happiest Of Days - Scrapbook Page

Well .... it's been a long time since I did any Scrapbooking! I'm trying to change that now ..... although this is the only page I've managed to finish in the last few months :o)

I used the beautiful Happiest of Days stamp set. I love the simplicity of this set ... and the gorgeous fonts and images that come with it.

All the flowers were stamped and cut out by hand. I don't mind fussy cutting and find it really relaxing. The flowers are a simple shape though, so even if you hate it, it doesn't take long to do them :o)

The flowers and leaves were all watercoloured using an Aqua Painter and our ink pads.

The only embellishment is the double bow, created using our beautiful Crinkled Seam Binding.

Beautiful - Background Bits

I'm back with another creation using the Background Bits Hostess stamp set today :o)

If possible, when using a new stamp set for the first time I try to create several projects. I love this set and made lots of cards with it in just one morning :o)

I used our Stampin' Markers to ink up the flowers.

This is such a quick and simple card to create and you could easily swap out the sentiment for a Birthday one to create a gorgeous Birthday card - that's perfect for posting.

Oh So Eclectic

Good Morning :o)

I inked up another new stamp set from the Annual catalogue this week - Oh So Eclectic. I fell in love with the coordinating framelits for this set, especially the large framelit that does a beautiful diamond cut-outs in your card. Of course even after falling in love with it, I didn't use it for this card!

I chose instead to show you a sneak peek product - the Quilt Top Textured Impressions embossing folder. Now, this is beautiful too - don't you think? :o) I love this design, it's just so pretty.

You can see I used the Stitched Shapes framelits again - a square one this time - and used one of the Layering Square framelits underneath it. These framelits are an absolute Must Have. I use them all the time (as you are probably aware), they are so lovely to work with.

I used the Night of Navy and Emerald Envy Markers to ink up the flowers before stamping and cutting out with the framelits.
