Touches of Texture - With Brusho Crystal Colour

Today I'm sharing with you a Sneak Peek project using a new product coming soon in the Spring / Summer catalogue.

The product is called Brusho Crystal Colour. You will get 5 colours in the kit - Brilliant Red, Gamboge (orange), Moss Green, Prussian Blue and Yellow. This is a really fun product to use! If you like to get messy and 'arty' .... then you will love it!

As you can see, I used mainly Yellow on this card :o)

I stamped my two images using Versamark ink and heat embossed them using our White Powder. This was onto Watercolour card. I then sprinkled a tiny bit of the Yellow crystals over the images and lightly spritzed with water. This causes the crystals to 'explode' and the colour spreads with the water.

Once it was all dry I decided to add a teeny, tiny bit of the Red and gently spritzed this with more water. I was really pleased with this finish :o)

Before creating this card, I had been 'playing' with all the colours and I managed to pick up a few small grains of the Blue onto my card. I didn't clean this off, but left it - you can just see it diagonally down the middle of the card. This spread slightly too, when I was spritzing the water - and looks gorgeous! It's very subtle but I thought adding a Marina Mist base card would make it stand out a little more :o)
