Beautiful Baubles - Large Gift Box and Card

Hi there! Today I'm sharing a Gift Box and coordinating card I made for a friend's Christmas present :o)

I think if I remember right, that the box was about 6½" tall, 5" wide and 2⅝" deep.

I stamped the sentiment using the Stamparatus - firstly in Merry Merlot ink and then again straight over the top with Versamark. I then embossed it using Clear powder.

The Box opens at the top - which I added as a separate piece. I also created two side tabs. These help the lid to stay flat and closed.

I decorated the front of the card and the box in the same way, using the Detailed Baubles thinlits and the Sprig punch.

I used both Copper Foil and some of the Copper Glimmer from the Joyous Noel Glimmer pack - I love the mix of these two textures!

The background paper used is from the coordinating Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series paper pack.

Dashing Deer - Hostess Gift

I always take a little gift for my Hostess whenever I do a Party for someone. My Party last week had two Hostess's so I made one for each of them :o)

This little box just contains a few ribbon samples for each of them. I put them into cellophane bags and then made boxes to size to hold them.

The front was decorated using the Dashing Deer bundle. I cut several layers of the Deer in Whisper White cardstock (backed with our multipurpose adhesive sheet) and stacked them on top of each other before adding the Glimmer Deer - this gave them the dimension I wanted.

Hinge Step Stamping with the Stamparatus using Dashing Deer - Video Tutorial

Today's project used the Stamparatus Hinge Step stamping Technique. This is such a great technique, unique to the Stamparatus for creating amazing backgrounds!

This is the card I make in the Video. It differs just slightly from the original in that I do not have a border all around the card - I like this version better :o)

I used Balmy Blue and Highland Heather ink which goes really well with the Silver Glimmer - I just love that sparkle.

Here is the Video. I hope you enjoy it and leave me a comment afterwards :o) ....
