For a long time now I've wanted to start making Video Tutorials again. It's taken forever to find the 'right' time but finally I've done it! :o)
I have used this background technique on lots of cards this month. You can see my other posts HERE and HERE. It's very quick and simple to do and really beautiful ... So I decided to use this in my first Video back. Here it is ......
This is the card that I create in the Video.
My card base is half a sheet of card, scored in half.
The Basic Black mat is 14.4cm x 10cm (US 5¼”x 4")
The Whisper White mat is 13.9cm x 9.5cm (US 5" x 3¾”)
Here are the other samples I showed in the Video.
The same colours again for this one. The stamp used for the background is from the Sheltering Tree set.
I changed the colours a little for this next one but again used Heartfelt Blooms for the background. The colours were So Saffron, Soft Sky, Powder Pink, Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral. The dies are from the Celebrate You Thinlits dies set.
This final card uses the same colours as the previous one. I used the Happy Birthday thinlits die for the sentiment - cutting three and stacking them on top of each other. The stamp used for the background comes from the Touches of Texture set.
