Blended Seasons - Friend

I did something just a little bit different for today's card. Do you remember the one I posted last Wednesday? You can see it again HERE. Well ...... I challenged myself to create another, but only using products I used in my first card ..... and this is the result :o)

I used the same stamps, framelits, colours and embossing folder. Both are great cards ..... but quite different.

The Blended Seasons bundle is very versatile .... that's what it's about afterall - suitable for all seasons! The stamp set and framelits are available together as a Bundle saving you 10% on the total price. Or you can purchase them separately. You can find full details HERE. Remember though, these products are ONLY available for this month!

The sentiment panel is created using the Stitched Seasons framelits. I used the largest of them here, but cut it a little differently. I saw Australian Demo Kylie Bertucci do this for one of her cards and thought what a fabulous shape it was.

You can do the same technique with lots of different framelits - punches too! I've done it in the past with several, but until I saw Kylie's card I had completely forgotten about the technique.

I recommend that you cut your mat and then stamp on it. If you try to get your stamping centred while you are creating your mat, it can get a little tricky.

Cut your mat as normal - you can just do a part of it if you want from a smaller piece of card. Once you have done the first cut, you just move the framelit down the card until you have the shape you want .... and run it through the Big Shot again. Give it a go .... it's really simple to do :o).
