Colour Your Season - What's New At Stampin' Up! Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's What's New at Stampin' Up!? Blog Hop!

We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who have got together to create this inspiring Blog Hop for you.

This month we are sharing projects which all use at least one of the new products from the Colour Your Season Promotion. Remember these products are available for this month only!

You can find full details about the new products on offer by clicking on the Banner above.

I decided to use one of the main images from the Blended Seasons stamp set and create a Pop-Up and Twist Panel card ....

This is the front of the card. I think it's absolutely beautiful! Yellow is my favourite colour and originally I had planned for the card base to be this colour too - but, it was too much :o) So I switched to Granny Apple Green .... and it's a perfect colour combination!

The image mat was cut out using one of the dies from the Stitched Seasons framelits set another of the products from this Promotion.

I used the Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers for all the colouring.

I stamped the flowers and a few leaves a second time, coloured them and then cut them out by hand. I used my Bone Folder and my fingers to shape them before adding them on top of the original image. This gives wonderful dimension to the image and looks fabulous!

This type of card has an awesome 'WoW' factor. As you open it, the inside pops up and twists to reveal the panels.

You can see that when the card is standing all the panels and the twist mechanism are hidden within the card.

I stamped the image several times to create the panels, masking off either a flower or some of the leaves to get a lovely continuous effect.

This was by no means a quick card to create, but that is solely down to how I decorated it. The basic card actually only takes a few minutes to make.

If you would like to see my previous cards in this style, then you can see them HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.
