Good Morning!
Today I am sharing a Video Tutorial showing you how to do the Kissing stamping technique. This technique is not new, in fact it was one of the very first ones I learned when I started stamping.
I also show you how I created the cards shown above.
This technique is super simple. Basically, it's called the Kissing technique because you touch two stamps together. They can both be inked or just one of them. you will get different results depending on how you ink them up.
You will need a solid stamp and a patterned stamp and a light and darker shade of ink.

The bottom row is the version I used for my cards. I inked the solid vases with Sahara Sand ink and 'kissed' them to my Hardwood stamp which was inked using Soft Suede.
To create the middle row, you only need to ink up the Vases using Sahara Sand.
For the top row, you only need to ink up the Hardwood stamp using Soft Suede.
This is the card I created in the Video. It's really simple to do and I love the effect I got on the vases - it looks like they have been carved from wood.
The paper I used is Mango Melody from the 6" Brights stack.
I coloured the flowers using the Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers. The Mango Melody ones are not available to purchase until 5th September (unless you are a Demonstrator).
Here is the Video. It's the first in a whole new series of Stamping and Cardmaking Technique Videos. I hope you enjoy it and give the technique a go if you have never tried it before :o)
