Hi There :o)
I have been playing with the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set and it's coordinating Blizzard Thinlits Die. I created THIS card a few weeks ago using some of the snowflakes from the die but wanted to create another card using the complete panel of snowflakes .... well, I finally got a chance to do so :o)
This large, single die measures 10.1cm x 12.6cm (4" x 5"). This makes it a bit of an awkward size to fit on the front of our standard card base here in the UK. However, it really didn't need a lot of thought to get it to work! As you can see, these cards look great ... and they were very quick to complete.
I have created a Video showing you how I made these cards, you can find it below ...
These two cards use the same colours (Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue), just in reverse - although I kept the Blueberry Bushel ink for the sentiment on both.
My original card (top pic) used Pool Party and Night of Navy.
This is the card I created in the video. I really like these two blues together .... and of course, the Silver Foil always looks fabulous with any blue :o)
If you would like to see how I created this card .... here is the Video ...
Balmy Blue card base ½ an A4 standard sheet of card
(US 8½" x 11")
Whisper White mat 14.4cm x 10cm (US 5¼" x 4")
for inside the card
Silver Foil 13.1cm x 10.5cm (US 5⅛" x 4¼")
Blueberry Bushel 12.7cm x 10.5cm (US 5" x 4¼" )
You will also need some more Whisper White and Balmy Blue card for the sentiment panel.
