In today's Video I show you how to make these cards.
I used the Butterfly Gala stamp set and coordinating punch together with some of the stunning All My Love Designer Series Papers.
It was really difficult to choose one of the papers from the pack! They are all so gorgeous ... I think that's why I made several cards!
This is a very simple style of card to create. It's pretty quick to do as well. For these first two cards, I stamped the Butterflies in Crumb Cake ink and then filled them in with the block stamps using both Lovely Lipstick (stamped off twice) and Balmy Blue.
I decided to create another using some of the Gingham Gala 6" papers. I picked the Grapefruit Grove check because I hadn't used it yet (not my favourite colour!). But ..... Wow .... I love this card too. Much 'cleaner' than the others, but just as pretty!
This is the actual card I made in the Video. The Butterflies were created using a Rock n Roll stamping technique - not to ink up the stamps but to actually stamp onto the cardstock.
I used Soft Sea Foam and Lovely Lipstick (stamped off once) to create them.
Crumb Cake card base ½ an A4 standard sheet of card
(US 8½" x 11")
Whisper White mat 14.4cm x 10cm (US 5¼" x 4")
for inside the card
Lovely Lipstick 14.3cm x 9.9cm (US 5⅛" x 3⅞")
Whisper White 13.9cm x 9.5cm (US 5" x 3¾" )
All My Love DSP 11.2cm x 9.5cm (US 3 15/16" x 3¾" )
You will also need some Whisper White card for stamping the Butterflies on.
