Pretty Kitty - Card Box - Video Tutorial

In today's Video, I show you how I created this Card Box. It comfortably holds four cards and envelopes.

The Pretty Kitty stamp set will be retiring at the end of this month. This is one I will miss a lot. I love the cute images :o)

This is a great little box for holding cards. It's easy to adjust the size too if you want it to hold more of them :o)

I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured most of them using the Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers. The Bows and the darker flowers were coloured using a Blender Pen and the Berry Burst ink pad.

The paper is from the Gingham Gala 6" stack.

The Box closure is in the back. I just wrapped a length of Baker's Twine around two Brads. I used the Silver and White Twine (145569) but pulled out the Silver Tread.

The sides of the Flap were shaped using the Gift Bag Punch Board. Alternatively, you could round the corners or cut the sides at a slant to give it some shape.

Berry Burst                                                    11½"  x  7½"

Score with the LONG side across the top at:  

4½",  5½",  10"  and  11"

Score with the SHORT side across the top at:

1"  

Berry Burst (Lid)                                          4½"  x  2⅞"

Score with the SHORT side across the top at: 

1⅜"  and  2⅜"

NOTE: If you are in the USA the Box as is will be a little too tall for your envelopes. If you reduce the size of the main Berry Burst card to 11½"  x  7" it should be perfect :o)
