In today's Video I show you how I created this small Wrap Box, Cards and Envelopes.
The construction of the Box is exactly the same as the Wrap Box created in last week's Video - HERE. This time there are no chocolate treats inside! Instead the Box holds 6 small cards with envelopes.
The Envelopes are handmade and the Video shows you how to make them with the Envelope Punch Board ... and also how to make them if you don't have this Board. (Note: the Board is no longer available through Stampin' Up! but it is still manufactured by We R Memory Keepers and you can purchase it elsewhere).
I used the Saling Home stamp set and coordinating Smooth Sailing dies for most of this project although I did also use one image from the High Tide stamp set.
The paper is from the now retired Neutrals 6" paper stack. We still sell these stacks but the designs are now different. The coordinating Come Sail Away 12" paper pack does have a beautiful stripe design that you could use to give a similar look :o)
The Brads I used are also now retired .... it's that time of the year isn't it? :o) But you could use any Brads you have as long as the heads aren't too small. These measure about ¼" (0.6cm) across the head.
This is what the Box looks like when it's opened. It's a really simple Box to make!
I love these little cards! They measure 3½" (9cm) and make great little notecards or Thank You cards. This would be a lovely little set to give as a gift :o)
I show you how I made each of these designs in the Video. You will need to make 3 of each.
I added a little Sahara Sand ink to the Boats using my Aqua Painter. I also used the Aqua Painter without ink on the Sails and the Sea.
I also added a little Sahara Sand ink to the Light House image to give it a little more shadow and colour the 'Island' it stands on.
All the Birds were stamped using the Stamparatus. In the Video I show you how to position the image so that it's stamped exactly where you want it to be
