Today's Video will show you how I created these lovely Patchwork cards :o)
So .... my card was born. The inspiration came from a design layout over at Pagemaps.
I dug out my Basic Black marker and had a play with some faux stitching .... it's been a while since I did this!
This card was my first attempt at colouring these super sweet birds on a branch. I had to cut one off ... but I managed to save him, so will no doubt use him on another card somehow ... somewhen :o)
This is the card I create in the Video.
I changed the main colour for this one, switching from the Pool Party to Daffodil Delight. The flowers this time were Calypso Coral - in the first card they were Petal Pink.
The sentiment was cut out using one of the Smooth Sailing dies.

Measurements
Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow all the metric measurements (cms).
If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow all the imperial measurements (inches).
Basic Black card base ½ an A4 standard sheet of card
(US 8½” x 11”)
Whisper White (inside) 14.4cm x 10cm (US 5¼”x 4”)
Daffodil Delight 14.4cm x 10cm (US 5¼”x 4”)
Whisper White 14.4cm x 10cm (US 5¼”x 4”)
... trimmed after adding the Patchwork to … 14cm x 9.6cm (US 5⅛”x 3⅞”)
You will need more Whisper White, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black card for stamping and die cutting. You will also need ‘scraps’ of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to create your Patchwork.
