Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box - Santa, Elf and Penguin - Video Tutorial

Today's Video will show you how I created these super cute Mini Curvy Keepsakes Boxes.

They are quick and easy to do and if you haven't got the exact dies or punches I use, I'm sure you have something else that will work just as well :o)

Aren't these Santa Boxes sweet? The box was cut from Real Red cardstock.

I created the Silver Buckle by using another of the small dies (the snowflake outline) from the Mini Curvy Keepsake set. 

I just used a bulk standard office hole punch to create the Black Buttons. Alternatively you could use the larger hole punch on your Cropadile or a 1/4" circle punch. 

The Belt is a strip of Basic Black card measuring 1cm (3/8") deep.

All the sentiments used come from the coordinating Tiny Keepsakes stamp set.

The Elf Box is identical to the Santa one but cut from Shaded Spruce cardstock. I used Gold Foil for the Belt Buckle this time and Gold Embossing Powder for the sentiment. 

The Tag dies used also come from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes die set.

These little Penguin Boxes are my favourite! They are just so cute!

I cut the Boxes from Basic Black card. The tummy was created by using one of the Layering Oval dies, cut in half. You could use any Oval punch or die of a similar size for this.

The little Heart I used for the Beak and the tiny Flowers used for the Feet come from the Written Words die set. Again you could use any small heart punch/die for the Beak. The feet would work punched with a 1/2" circle punch or you could use any simple shaped Flower punch/die to create them.

I used my Office hole punch for the Black in the eyes again. The larger White circles were created using a retired 3/8" circle punch. If you still have our retired Owl punch you could use that instead. Or you could just punch out White circles and draw Black circles in the centre.
