Nature's Beauty - In Copper - Video Tutorial

This card design was originally going to be in my Embossing With Stencils video ... but I liked it so much that I thought it deserved it's own Video - so this is what I'm sharing with you today :o)

Nature's Beauty is one of my favourite stamp sets from the Autumn / Winter catalogue. I think the images are just adorable. They are so versatile too, this set is not just for Christmas.

The Early Espresso background layer was embossed using one of the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks. I then repositioned the mask back over the card and covered the raised areas with Delicata Celestial Copper ink before embossing with Copper powder. 

The image background was created by masking off the bottom third and ink blending the 'sky'. I used two shades of blue ink, keeping the lightest around the Deer.

Dazzling Diamonds Glitter provided the lovely sparkle on the 'snow'.

The Deer was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

         

Crumb Cake card base                                     ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

Whisper White (inside)                                     14.4cm x 10cm      (US 5¼” x 4”)

Copper Foil                                                        14.3cm x 9.8cm     (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Early Espresso                                                   14cm x 9.5cm        (US 5⅛” x 3⅞”)

Copper Foil                                                        10.4cm x 7cm        (US 4⅛” x 2¾”) 

You will also need more Whisper White card for stamping / die cutting and some Copper Foil for die cutting.
