Double Diamond Fold Card (2) - using Free As A Bird - Video Tutorial

I have another Double Diamond Fold card to share with you today. This one shares the same name as the one I showed a few posts back (HERE) but looks completely different. You can find the Video below.

I used the Free As A Bird stamp set and coordinating Bird Ballad Designer Series papers - it's a very pretty card :o)

The sentiment comes from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set.

All the images on the centre panel were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I also embossed this panel using the Subtle folder.

The card folds quite flat and will fit inside a standard envelope for a 6" square card.

On the back is a panel to write your message.

I decided to create a coordinating box to hold my card. You can find a Video on how to create this size HERE.

Here is the Video for the card ...

Measurements

Old Olive                                                                                                  12” x 6”

With the LONG side across the top, score down at:                            3”, 4½”, 7½” and 9”

Make a small MARK at:                                                                           1½” and 10½”

Turn the card stock to the opposite edge and repeat the MARKS

With the SHORT side across the top, MARK at:                                   3”

Score from the 1½” and 10½” marks to the BOTTOM of the second Vertical Score line going in towards the centre. Turn the cardstock and REPEAT on the opposite edge.

Cut between the 3” MARKS on the SHORT sides to the 1½” and 10½” MARKS on the LONG side. Turn the cardstock and REPEAT on the opposite edge.

Centre and Back: 

Pool Party (2)                                                              14.9cm x 7.3cm        (5⅞” x 2⅞”)

Whisper White (2)                                                      14.6cm x 7cm           (5¾” x 2¾”)

Diamonds:

Bird Ballad DSP (3)                                                     14.6cm x 7.2cm        (5¾” x 2 13/16”)

Note: One Diamond will be cut into 2 pieces at 3.4cm (1 11/32”) – this is just under 1⅜”

Triangles:

Bird Ballad DSP (4)                                                     7.1cm x 3.4cm      (2 13/16” x 1⅜”)
