Today I am sharing an updated version of my Gift Card Holder. This is such a simple design. I first posted about it 5 years ago ... so it was long overdue for an update :o)
I don't actually use mine for Gift Cards. But I do use them to gift Money and also to hold Vouchers for my business.
I need at least 6 for the family each year so it was a good opportunity to do another Video for you. This time I added Belly Bands.
The base for this next one is Cherry Cobbler. I used papers from the Wrapped in Plaid 6" paper stack and the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.
The sentiment was heat embossed in Gold to match the paper.
I chose different designs from the same paper pack for my next two holders. This first is in Night of Navy.
This final one of this little set is in Shaded Spruce. The large sentiment mats were created using one of the dies from the Stitched Labels Framelits set.
I decided to change up the papers for my next set of three. These are all from the Feels Like Frost 6" paper pack.
I added the Tree this time and decorated it with a little Wink of Stella and some metallic Silver Pearls.
This first one is in Night of Navy and I used Silver Embossing Powder this time.
This time I used a couple of the dies from the Nested Labels set and embossed the White layer with the Swirls and Curls embossing folder.
This one is in Balmy Blue.
Finally, this is the one I created in the Video. I used Blueberry Bushel here. It's super quick and easy to create ... which is good when you have to do a bunch :o)
This is how it looks in the inside. There is a little pocket to hold the Gift Card / Money.

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).
If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

Front:
Silver Foil 14.5cm x 8.5cm (US 5¼" x 3¼")
Feels Like Frost DSP 14.1cm x 8.1cm (US 5⅛" x 3⅛")
Pocket:
Silver Foil 14.5cm x 2.8cm (US 5¼" x 1¼")
Feels Like Frost DSP 14.1cm x 2.4cm (US 5⅛" x 1⅛")
Belly Band:
Blueberry Bushel 21cm x 3.8cm (US 11" x 1½")
Feels Like Frost DSP 21cm x 3.4cm (US 11" x 1⅜")
NOTE: The DSP for the Belly Band will work with a 6” length.
You will also need some more Whisper White, Blueberry Bushel and Silver Foil card for stamping, punching and die-cutting.
