Honey Bee Shaker Card - Video Tutorial

Today's Video shows you how to create these cute Shaker cards. I used the Honey Bee stamp set and coordinating Detailed Bee dies.

I made the Shaker aperture double sized :o)

I used gold hexagon and circle confetti together with iredescent sequins for the 'shakers' for this first card - these were all from my stash. They are so shiny and sparkly! BUT ... the hexagons seem to have a lot of static and stick to the window. I did use my embossing buddy on the acetate but it didn't have a lot of effect. The static will eventually go, so I'm not too worried :o)

This is the card I created in the Video. I raised the window a little higher for this one so the sentiment had a little more room.

For the 'shakers' I used sequins from our (retired) mini sequin trim in both black and gold. These took forever to remove from the trim, but I wanted black and gold so stayed with it :o) There's no static and they shake like a dream - not quite so sparkly though. I think if I do another card I will do more of a mix for the inside.

The sentiment was die cut using one of the dies from the Stitched Labels set.

I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink for all the stamping, but I overstamped using Versamark ink and heat embossed using Clear powder.

Here is the Video ...
