Honey Bee - Swing Tent Fold Card - Video Tutorial

Today I have a great card design to share with you. I've used the Honey Bee stamp set and coordinating Detailed Bee dies to create an Interactive Fun Fold Card! It's called a Swing Tent Fold card.

The papers used are from the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series paper pack. This is one of the FREE items you can select with a qualifying purchase during our Sale-a-Bration promotion - full details can be found under the Current Promotions tab at the top of this Blog.

I discovered this style of card watching a Video from Sam Calcott - it's not a style I had come across before. I enjoyed creating this card so much that I've done several others too - I'll show you them in detail in my next Blog Post but you do get to see them in my Video :o)

This is the side view of the card. 

I added a panel on to the back of the card, so you can write a message.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

         

Basic Black card base                              ½ an A4 standard sheet of card          

                                                                                                (US 8½”x 11”)

Golden Honey DSP (inside)                    14.3cm x 10cm   (US 5¼” x 4”)

Gold Foil                                                   14.3cm x 10cm   (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Golden Honey DSP                                 14 cm x 9.7cm     (US 5⅛” x 3⅞”)

Acetate (approx.)                                     7.5cm x 1cm        (US 3” x ½”)

Basic Black (Base)                                    10.5cm x 8cm     (US 4¼” x 3”)

Score with the SHORT side across the top at:

1cm, 4cm and 7cm      (US ½”, 1½” and 2½”)

Basic Black (Mechanism)                         5cm x 1.2cm       (US 2” x ½”)

Score with the LONG side across the top at:

1cm, 2.5cm and 4cm    (US ¼”, 1” and 1¾”)

You will need Whisper White and Gold Foil card for stamping and/or die cutting.
