Bloom & Grow Cards

I have more pretty cards to share with you today using the Bloom & Grow stamp set. I love this set and am so happy that it's one that will carry over into the new Annual Catalogue out next month.

I used sentiments from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set for three of the cards. Sadly this is one of the sets that isn't carrying over. I will miss it, not least of all for the simple but beautiful sentiments.

The colour combination for this first card is Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, Purple Posy and Granny Apple Green.

All the images were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using alcohol markers. I used Stampin' Blends markers for the first two cards.

The sentiment is from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set and was stamped using Pretty Peacock ink. The ink was juicy enough that I could cover with Clear Embossing powder and heat set. I then die cut it using one of the Stitched Shapes Oval dies.

The colour combination used for this second card is Rich Razzleberry, Balmy Blue, Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.

The sentiment this time also came from the Bloom & Grow stamp set. I used one of the Square dies from the Stitched Shapes set.

The paper used for the background layer came from the (now retired) Gingham Gala 6" pack. I love this paper and am determined not to waste any, so you will see it used in projects for a while to come yet :o)

I used more of the paper from the Gingham Gala 6" paper pack for these last two cards.

I coloured the images this time using Copic markers. I don't have that many but I was able to match the colours pretty well.
