Today's Video Tutorial shows you how I created these gorgeous Diamond Easel Cards.
I used the Prized Peony bundle and papers from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper pack.
I chose Calypso Coral as my contrast colour for this first card - although the orange papers are actually Grapefruit Grove from the (retired) Gingham Gala 6" paper stack. I am determined to use all of these paper up because I love them - and I'm almost there :o)
This is how the card looks when folded flat. It will fit into a standard square envelope for a 6" square card. I will probably make boxes for mine though - you can find another Video showing you how to do this HERE.
This is how the card looks fully opened out.
There is a large panel inside where you can write your message.
The Peony Garden papers are just beautiful. The main colours are Basic Gray and Gray Granite ... so they can be teamed with almost any colour successfully. The pack also includes some Petal Pink.
This is the card I created in the Video ... it's just so pretty!
All the papers for this one come from the Peony Garden pack.
I added a bow to the front of the card this time, using some of our Gray Granite Sheer Ribbon.
The Rhinestones used are from the Elegant Faceted Gems pack and are in Petal Pink.

Measurements
Note: You can follow either metric or imperial for this project – the results will be the same.
Grey Granite card base 30.5cm x 15.25cm (12” x 6”)
(Or join 2 pieces of card together to create this 6½” x 6” and 6” x 6”)
Score at 3” and 6” and mark at 3” on all sides
Mats For Front & Base:
Grey Granite 10.8cm x 10.8cm (4¼”x 4¼”)
Petal Pink (x2) 10.2cm x 10.2cm (4” x 4”)
Peony Garden DSP (x2) 9.8cm x 9.8cm (3⅞”x 3⅞”)
Petal Pink 7cm x 7cm (2¾” x 2¾”)
Peony Garden DSP 6.5cm x 6.5cm (2 9/16” x 2 9/16”)
Mats For Back (inside & outside):
Petal Pink (x2) 14.7cm x 7cm (5¾” x 2¾”)
Peony Garden DSP 14.3cm x 6.7cm (5⅝” x 2⅝”)
Whisper White 14.3cm x 6.7cm (5⅝” x 2⅝”)
You will also need Whisper White and Petal Pink card for stamping and die cutting and additional Grey Granite card for creating mats.
