Hippo Happiness - 3" Cards with Boxes - Video Tutorial

Today's Video shows you how I created these super cute Boxes and 3" cards.

I used Bermuda Bay card for this first Box. It will hold 8 of the 3" square cards and envelopes.

I used Gorgeous Grape for the smaller Box, which holds just 4 of the cards and envelopes.

I used the Hippo Happiness stamp set and coordinating Hippo & Friends dies throughout this project. The stamps are so very sweet and are a perfect size to decorate the little cards.

The stamp set has four main images and I created a card using each of them - doubling up for the larger Box. I also chose a different colour for each one.

All the colours came from the Brights Collection.

Measurements

Box – holds 8 cards

Bermuda Bay                                          11” x 7¾” 

With theLONG side across the TOP, score down at:          3¼”, 5¼”, 8½” and 10½”

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at:       2”, 5¼” and 7¼”

Box – holds 4 cards

Bermuda Bay                                          9” x 5¾” 

With theLONG side across the TOP, score down at:          3¼”, 4¼”, 7½” and 8½”

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at:       1”, 4¼” and 5¼”

Mats – for Front of Box

Whisper White                                        8cm x 8cm              (3⅛”x 3⅛”)

Brights DSP                                             7.6cm x 7.6cm        (3” x 3”)

Envelopes                                                 7.9cm x 7.9cm       (3⅛”x 3⅛”)

Cards                                                         15.2cm x 7.6cm    (6” x 3”)

With the LONG side across the TOP, score down at:          7.6cm          (3”)

Brights Card                                               7.6cm x 2.9cm     (3” x 1⅛”)

Brights DSP                                                7.5cm x 2.5cm     (3” x 1”)

You will need extra Whisper White card for stamping and die-cutting.
