Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Well Wishes and Pick-Me-Ups

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for August!

This month's theme is 'Well Wishes and Pick-Me-Ups'.

If you are following along with the Hop, you would have arrived from Rachael's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Jean's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are the projects I created for this month's Hop ...

I created a Small Handbag Style Gift Bag with Faceted Sides together with a coordinating card.

You can find a Video below showing you how I created the Bag.

The Bag measures 6" wide at the base, is 5" tall and 2" deep.

This is a view of the lovely faceted sides of the Bag.

I used 1/2" Velcro dots for the closure, but you could use magnets if you prefer.

The paper comes from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper pack.

I used dies from the Celebration Labels set to create the Top Flap for my Gift Bag and the layer for my card. These dies are amazing! I love the large sizes you get in the set - they are perfect for 3D projects!

The Flower was created using our Vellum Cardstock. I coloured the back of it using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed using White powder.

Here is the Video ...
