Sailing Home - Wrap Lid Box - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how I created these Wrap Lid Boxes. I've called them this because the base, back and lid are in one piece and the lid wraps around the box to close. They aren't new at all, but have been around forever ... just called a multitude of different things :o)

I used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set for my first one. I also used In Colours from the 2019 - 2021 Collection.

The ribbon was a bad choice for this little box. It's one-sided, so trying to tie it so the bow looked 'right' was a little tricky - the ribbon is also quite stiff so achieving a small enough bow was also a challenge ... lesson learned though for my next one :o)

I used one of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly set to cut out the sentiment.

Here is the Box I made in the Video. This time I used the Sailing Home stamp set to create a more masculine version.

The Braided Linen Trim was perfect for the closure this time.

I used the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder on the top panel of the box and added a little extra colour using a Sponge Dauber.

The Box was sized to fit 4 Ferrerro Rocher chocolates inside.
