Poinsettia Place - Fold Flat Gift Bag (12"x12"x3") - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how I created this really large Gift Bag!

It measures 12" tall, 12" wide and 3" deep. I also talk you through how to increase the depth of the bag if you want to - it's really easy :o)

I used the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper for this one. You need two full sheets of it. 

The sentiment on the Tag is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. I used dies from the Celebration Labels set to create it - together with the Sprig Punch.

The Gift Bag folds flat so you can create lots in advance and pull them out when needed. 

Of course, they don't only have to be for Christmas ... 

Here is one I created using papers from our retired All My Love DSP pack. The sentiment is from the Borders Abound stamp set.

Measurements

Poinsettia Place DSP    - FRONT & BACK x2         12” x 12”

 

Score 1 piece at 1½” (ensure that this score is towards the bottom of the piece)

 

 

Soft Suede          - SIDES x2                                     12” x 4”

 

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at ½” and 3½”

With the LONG side across the TOP, score down 1½”

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at 2” to the 1½” score line

Don’t forget to score the TRIANGLE sections at the bottom

 

 

Soft Suede - BASE                                                    12” x 4”

 

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at ½” and 3½”

 

 

Soft Suede – TABS x2                                               3” x 1”

 

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at ½”

 

 

Soft Suede Handles/Decorative Strips x4           12” x 1”

Ribbon approx.                                                          25”

 

         

You will need extra Whisper White, Bumblebee, Garden Green and Soft Suede card and Poinsettia Place DSP to complete this project.
