In today's Video I share how I created this beautiful Gift Bag. It measures 8" tall, 8" wide and 3" deep.
This isn't the first 8" fold flat Gift Bag that I have shared with you. You can find the other one HERE. This one however, only uses 2 x 8" square pieces of Designer Series Paper whereas my previous one used almost two full 12"x12" sheets.
I love this bag, I think it's so pretty with the pink and grey - Rococo Rose and Grey Granite - and the paper is beautiful - from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper pack.
The Bag is deconstructed, so the sides and base are separate and consist of Grey Granite cardstock. And best of all ... the bag folds flat so storage is so much easier. You can find the Video below.
I needed a card to go with my Gift Bag and chose to make one of my 6" Square Display Cards. You can find out how these are made - HERE.
Because I only used an 8" square piece from my 12"x12" paper I had lots leftover and was able to use some of it for the side panels on the card. I still have several more 4" strips available for other projects too :o)
There is a panel on the back where you can write your message.

Measurements
Peony Garden DSP - FRONT & BACK x2 8” x 8”
Score 1 piece at 1½” (ensure that this score is towards the bottom of the piece)
Grey Granite - SIDES x2 8½” x 4”
With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at ½” and 3½”
With the LONG side across the TOP, score down at ½” and 2”
With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at 2” to the FIRST scoreline
Don’t forget to score the TRIANGLE sections at the bottom
Grey Granite - BASE 8” x 4”
With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at ½” and 3½”
Ribbon approx. 9”
You will need extra Grey Granite, Rococo Rose and Whisper White card to complete this project.
