Soar Confidently - Vintage Masculine Card - Video Tutorial

Today's card is another CASE from the January to June Mini Catalogue. You can find the original card on page 70.

I used the Soar Confidently stamp set to create it together with a couple of images from the Sailing Home set.

The background panel was created using a piece from the Sand & Sea Designer Series paper pack. I used a sponge dauber to add a little Misty Moonlight ink to the top of the panel, so it looked a little more like sky.

The Balloon image was stamped onto Crumb Cake card using Soft Suede ink and coloured using a Blender Pen and the Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee ink pads.

The clouds on the oridinal card were die cut using the Majestic Mountain dies. I haven't got them so hand drew some and cut them out.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

Very Vanilla (Inside)                                     14.4cm x 10cm    (US 5¼” x 4”) 

 

Soft Suede                                                          11cm x 9.5cm       (US 4” x 3⅞”)

Sand & Sea DSP                                               11cm x 9.5cm       (US 4” x 3⅞”)

 

Very Vanilla (Sentiment)                             9.5cm x 2cm         (US 3⅞” x ¾”)

 

Front Panel to be cut into horizontal strips (9.5cm/US 3⅞”) as follows:

 

4.7cm, 3.4cm, 2cm and 0.9cm        (US 1¾”, 1¼”, ¾”, ¼”)

 

  

You will need extra Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake card to complete the project.
