I used the Masking Technique to create today's cards and the Strawberry stamps from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.
I wanted to create a single layer card - one without any dimension on it.
The Strawberries were stamped one at a time and covered with masks so I could overlap the next one(s) slightly.
Can you spot the error on this first one? I didn't ... not until I had completely finished the panel and removed all the masks :o)
I meant to use Cherry Cobbler ink for the outline and Real Red for the infill colour on the Strawberries - but I managed to get this wrong for my first one at the top.
I still made the panel into a card and wasn't planning on creating a second card - but it niggled so much that I had to! :o)
I don't actually like my second attempt as much as my first - the layout didn't work out so well and the Strawberries didn't overlap as much - but here it is nonetheless :o)
With all the masks in place I ink blended a little Pool Party ink into the background. The masks were then removed and I added the sentiment.
